AKUT Search and Rescue Association has been actively working since 1996 both in Turkey and abroad based on voluntarism. In these 21 years it save 2539 lifes in 2547 operations. Besides being a member of Insarag (a group of search and rescue and information under United Nations) AKUT worked successfully to rescue lifes in catastrophes in abroad. AKUT not only saved lifes, but also gave seminars about eartquake information and these seminars are regularly planned every year. One of the 29 teams, AKUT Eskisehir team actively worked in and around Eskisehir with its 102 volunteers since 2010. In this 7 years time, it has saved 14 people and 37 animals in 104 operations.
